The existing traditional Thai building at Taweewattana district enhances the background of this cafe name 'Petrichor'. The paradise place for pet and their owner to hang out and treatment with their beloved ones. The cafe was renovated from a fragment of the existing building. Facing the Taweewattana River in the West under the concept of a pet social house which contains a Bedroom, bathroom, Living room, garden and the river. The interior atmosphere emphasizes natural light and the view from verticle and horizontal. The indoor terrace with an arc void ceiling creates a harmonized random pattern of shadow consorted with a solid void in the living space inside. The ceiling represents the contrasts of space by simple materials such as natural rubber plywood and white colour filled in with mid-century furniture in various colours to give the visitor feel comforted and homey for both humans and their pets.
